Using Our Products

Thank you for supporting Ridge Light Ranch SM. You can find our Terms of Use at https://ridgelightranch.com/terms-of-use/ (The first half is about using our website and then it talks about using our products.)

Multi-User Permissions

Many of our loyal customers have requested a way to share electronic copies of our files with their co-workers and contractors. In April of 2019, we changed our terms of use to allow for this with single-user and multi-user permissions of electronic copies of our files (more details below)!

A “User” is typically a parent or teacher with 10 or fewer students. If you have more than 10 students, please purchase a license for each block of 10 students. (Near the bottom of this page is an example.)

If there’s not an option to purchase a file with a multi-user permission, then that file is currently only available with a single-user permission. Multi-user permissions are typically available for products that are often used in a classroom, for example, lesson plans and posters. If a product is only available with single-user permission and you’re interested in purchasing it with a multi-user permission, please contact us at admin@ridgelightranch.com.

In an effort to make our terms easy to understand and comply with, I’ve listed some FAQs here. If you have any specific questions about the use of this item, please just email me us admin@ridgelightranch.com. Thank you so much for helping me protect my intellectual property.

I downloaded a free file from you. Can I email that to my friend, since it was free anyway?

Are the electronic file and the printout of the electronic file treated differently?

  • They are not treated differently. In past years we structured our Terms of Use differently and the printed and electronic files were treated differently, However, under this “user permission” system, they are the same.

I’m happy to help you figure out if your use is allowed under our Terms Of Use. Just email me and tell me what you have in mind:  admin@ridgelightranch.com. Thank you so much for helping me protect my intellectual property.
