Sunset at the Beach: Watercolor 4″x5.5″ (Original, No Mat or Frame)

Description

Let the tranquil hues of this serene watercolor transport you to a peaceful evening by the ocean. “Sunset at the Beach” captures the fleeting beauty of a sun sinking below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the sky. Gentle palm trees sway in the distance as birds glide effortlessly through the soft, pastel clouds. This intimate, small-format piece invites you to pause and imagine the calm of ocean waves lapping against the shore.

Perfect for anyone seeking a moment of quiet reflection, this artwork evokes feelings of peace and connection with nature, offering a reminder of the beauty found in the simple, fleeting moments of life.

This is an original watercolor painting, NOT a print!

---

• SIZE: the painting is on 4″x5.5” paper.
• MATERIALS: I painted this with a variety of watercolor paints, and a bit of gouache as needed, on heavyweight 140lb cold-press acid-free watercolor paper. This painting is NOT framed or matted, however, it looks great with a mat, as shown. Given the unusual size, you should plan to have a mat custom cut for this artwork.
• This is a great size to mount on a card base and send as a greeting card. Let me know if you’d like this and I will be happy to do that for you, free of charge.

Color

The actual color may look slightly different depending on the monitor/screen you are viewing the image on. Please feel free to ask if I can answer any clarifying questions.

Matting and Framing

I can mat and frame the artwork or you can do it yourself. Follow these links to order the mat and frame separately:

• Add On: Mat for Art
• Add On: Frame for Art (Local pick up only)

I offer these services to my customers because I know not everyone enjoys a trip to Hobby Lobby or Michaels. However, I want you to know that you can easily do this yourself and save quite a bit of money if you watch for sales! My prices assume I will not be able to take advantage of sales when I purchase a mat and/or frame for you.

Shipping

I often upcycle and reuse clean shipping materials. I will ship you the original painting/card in a flat envelope, protected in a plastic sleeve and stiff cardboard. If we already see each other regularly, I’m happy to bring this to you the next time we meet. If you’d like to take advantage of this, choose “Local Pickup” as your shipping.

Returns

If you are not happy for any reason, please contact me! I accept returns within 7 days of receipt. You are responsible for the return shipping, but once I receive the item back in its original condition, I will happily refund your purchase.
