The Story Behind the Art

One rainy day, while I was hanging out at my parent’s house, this owl took a nap just outside my parents’ backyard (also in Tucson, AZ). It was so fun to watch him peacefully doze- I just knew I had to paint him!

• SIZE: the painting is on 8”x8” paper. As you can see in the photos, there is a small white bit of paper around the edge of the painting- this is from where it was taped down while painting, as is standard practice with watercolor.
• MATERIALS: I painted this with a variety of watercolor paints, and a bit of gouache as needed, on heavyweight 140lb cold-press acid-free watercolor paper. This painting is NOT framed.

Shipping

I often upcycle and reuse clean shipping materials. I will ship you the original painting/card in a flat envelope, protected in a plastic sleeve and stiff cardboard. If we already see each other regularly, I’m happy to bring this to you the next time we meet. If you’d like to take advantage of this, choose “Local Pickup” as your shipping.

Returns

If you are not happy for any reason, please contact me! I accept returns within 7 days of receipt. You are responsible for the return shipping, but once I receive the item back in its original condition, I will happily refund your purchase.

Purchasing a work of art does not usually include reproduction rights, or a license to print copies of the artwork.
