Gila Monster- Original Wooden Egg- Woodburned with Colored Pencil (SOLD)

Description

This handcrafted wooden egg features a detailed woodburned design of a Gila monster lizard, which curls around the egg. Orange colored pencil accents bringing the lizard to life. Set against a backdrop of desert plants, the egg captures the unique beauty of this iconic southwestern creature.

With its bold colors and intricate design, this egg makes a striking statement. Whether displayed as a standalone piece or as part of a collection, it brings a touch of desert charm to your home décor. Perfect for Easter or year-round, this piece celebrates the wonders of the southwestern landscape.

Each of my decorated eggs is unique, not only due to the piece of wood it’s drawn on but also because each drawing / painting is an original (not a stamp or print).

• SIZE: the artwork is on a wooden egg, just over 2.25 inches tall (as shown in the photos).
• MATERIALS: I woodburned the design, giving it a slight texture. Then I added the color with colored pencil, allowing the wood grain to still show through in the background.
