The Story Behind the Art

I originally painted this Dragonfly in preparation for a watercolor class I was teaching. The host of the class requested that we paint dragonflies, which meant I needed some additional practice myself. In keeping with my process, I painted several different versions with a variety of colors and detail. Once I figured out what I liked and was able to describe how to create it, I was ready for class! Out of all my samples, this was my favorite, so I had it turned into a sticker for you!
