Parents/guardians of teens taking classes at SAAG must fill out a SAAG Waiver and bring it to class!

Create four beautiful watercolor cards in this beginner-friendly class for adults and teens. You’ll paint two cacti designs (two of each), learning simple techniques like washes, layering, and splatter. You’ll begin with a pencil sketch of the cacti already on your page, then follow clear, step-by-step instruction to bring it to life with color, layering, and detail. All supplies are provided, just come ready to relax and enjoy painting.

• Where: Southern Arizona Art Guild (SAAG) Gallery: 1745 E River Road, Tucson, AZ 85718
• Date: Friday, July 24, 2026
• Time: 10:30-1:00 (2.5 Hours)

As you work, you’ll build confidence with your brush, learn how colors interact on the page, and discover how small details can bring your paintings to life. Whether you’re brand new to watercolor or just looking for a low-pressure way to practice, this class is approachable, encouraging, and fun.

All supplies are provided, including paper, paints, and brushes. You’ll leave with four finished cards and the skills to continue creating at home.

Come ready to learn, practice, and discover.
