Anyone Can Draw the Basic Shapes of the World- Drawing to Memorize Geography
$2.99
10 pages- How to draw the basic shapes of a world map, step by step
Description
It’s Time to put it all together!
This file is also available within the Anyone Can Draw the World PDF Package and the Anyone Can Draw the World VIDEO Course.
In this series, we’ve been learning to draw the world in 10 different segments. Now we’ll learn how to sketch the basic shapes of each segment on one piece of paper with the proper spacing and sizing. Once you have these basic shapes on a piece of paper, you can draw detailed versions of each area using the other files in this “Drawing to Memorize Geography” series.
I use a combination of basic shapes (sometimes called blob mapping) and a loose “unit” grid system, so students can scale their maps up and down while maintaining the proportions of the map.
Check out the other resources I have for using Cartography to learn Geography.
What’s Included:
- Step-by-step instructions for how to draw each of the 10 geographic areas, using a combination of basic shapes and generic “units.”
You will receive 10 page PDF file. This file is best printed on 8.5×11 paper.
This is a PDF file, so you’ll need a PDF Reader to view and print it. Download a free PDF Reader here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/.
